My Favorite American Sea Food Recipe

The 2008 Great American Sea Food cook off contest that was held in New Orleans Louisiana was already over. The five finalists were given several challenges in creating their dish for the final round competition. The requirement are the following, dishes should to contain one of two mystery ingredients, either Southwest Airline Peanuts or select brews from Michelob Brewing Co. Next, keeping it healthy and simple, the dish’s ingredients had to represent all five food groups and be a dish that even the most harried home chefs could prepare. Based on the five entries, I voted Maryland - Chef Tafari Campbell Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish with Peas and Carrots. For me this entry is the best, I like this recipe because of its simplicity aside from it looks so healthy, you only need few ingredients to make it. I am planning to make one this dinner. I do like domestic sea foods and the benefits that it offers. One of my favorite is fish that contains high omega-3 fatty acids. You know that one or two servings of fish a week can save 120,000 of the lives lost each year from sudden cardiac death. Aside from fish I like also shrimp, crabmeat, lobster and scallops. During my free time I enjoy cooking and experimenting different recipe to cook them.
