I take off work yesterday to visit my dentist, another painful day. I need to have crowns for my two teeth. Before they will put the crown I need to have the endodontic procedure a very tedious procedure takes almost 4 hours. This same thing as the root canal surgery, the dentist uses operating microscopes, ultrasonics and digital imaging. What the dentist did was he cut off the very tip of the root of tooth and places a filling at the end of the root to help seal the root structure. How I wish I have camera that time and take photo of myself having all those metal and wire inside my mouth. But basically the procedure looks like the photo below.

The dentist told me that it will take 3-5 days to heal and take pain reliever if I cannot tolerate the ache. But I am okay right now, I just feel little tingling on that portion of the tooth.
