I enjoyed my Holy Week. We celebrated our Easter Sunday by going to church by 9am and attended the service that took 2 hours. It is nice to commemorate how GOD shown His LOVE to US. That HE gave HIS only begotten SON to SAVE us. I missed how Filipino celebrated the Holy Week it is completely different here in the US. These are the biblical explanation of Jesus' death on the cross, his burial and his resurrection from the dead, Matthew 27:27-28:8; Mark 15:16-16:19; Luke 23:26-24:35; and John 19:16-20:30.
After the service we went to the restaurant and ordered our all time favorite the Parmesan-crusted Sicilian Quesadillas with sautéed chicken as appetizers (with flour tortilla packed with sautéed chicken, sausage, bruschetta marinara, bacon and oozing with monterey Jack cheese). They coat it with Parmesan and pan–fry it to a crispy, golden brown, then drizzle it with balsamic glaze. As our main dish, I ordered the Al’s Fish Tacos (with three flour tortillas filled with crispy nacho-crusted tilapia, shredded lettuce, corn salsa and creamy lemon dill remoulade sauce) and my husband ordered the Baby rack ribs (A half–rack of tender baby back pork ribs fire–grilled, glazed with BBQ Sauce and Topped with onion rings, they served it with fries and a side of barbecue sauce). I took some photo of the foods that we ordered.
We ended our Easter Sunday not just with full of LOVE of CHRIST but also with full stomach.
