Washington, DC Tour

Posted in ,

Last weekend, I went to Washington, DC to meet a friend. That was the second time I've been to DC. The first time I went there was last year during the US Independence Day. If you want to visit all the tourist spots including all the museums in DC, give at least two to three days and make a plan ahead of time, especially if you are not familiar with the area. One day is not enough to visit all the museums. Some of the magnificent landmarks in DC that we didn't visit are the Union Station, the U.S. Capitol, and the U.S. Botanical Garden.

The Smithsonian Institution in DC is the world's largest museum complex and research organization composed of 19 museums, 9 research centers, and the National Zoo. Last weekend we visited only two museums, the American History Museum (History of science, technology, society and culture in America) and the Natural History Museum.

You can also find lots of small gift shops in DC where you can buy a souvenir. How I wish that they had promotional products that I can customize but we never did find one.

We also went to the Washington Monument and this is what it looked like in day time and when the sun starts to set.
