Difficult Move

I was so depressed when my husband told me we would be moving to Ann Arbor. I’ve got nothing against Michigan, but I was very happy where we were. We had lived in Colorado for years, and I loved our house and had a great social network there. I thought we would be there for the rest of our lives, but his job had other plans for us. They offered him a great position, but it meant a big move for us. When I begrudgingly started planning our move, I used to cry every day. I couldn’t bear the idea of moving, and was having a hard time. Something as simple as searching for Ann Arbor Direct TV would bring on the waterworks. My husband began to worry about me, but after getting used to the idea of moving I got better. I stopped crying all the time and got myself together. Moving was difficult, but I still keep in touch with all of my friends and try to visit often. They have come here to see us too, so it hasn’t been as bad as I thought it would be.
